Hotel Meliá Sitges
This is the Festival’s nerve center as it contains the main movie theater – the auditori or auditorium–, press conference rooms and part of the organization’s offices.

Auditori
With a seating capacity of 1.384, it is one of the largest in the Mediterranean and is equipped with the latest movie screening technologies. The opening and closing ceremonies are held here and from five to seven daily screenings during the Festival. It has 35 and 70 mm projectors in 1,33-1,66-1,85-Scope formats. In addition, it is equipped with Dolby Stereo, Dolby SRD, DTS and Dolby SDDS sound.

Cine El Retiro
One of the Festival’s emblematic venues which was just recently renovated. It is located in the center of town. With a seating capacity for 600 people, it holds from three to five daily screenings during the Festival. It has a new 35 mm projector with 1,33-1,66-1,85-Scope formats. The theater has Dolby Stereo sound.

Cine Prado
One of the Festival’s most representative centers, it caters for several different sections. It has a seating capacity of 450 and a 35 mm projector for 1,33-1,66-1,85-Scope formats and is equipped with Dolby Stereo sound.

The Escorxador Building
The Festival’s offices, which were previously in the Miramar Building, are now located here as of June 2010. This building with clearly modernista influences, once Sitges’ old municipal abattoir, was built in 1889 by Gaietà Buigas and renovated in 1991. It is an irregular, hexagonal urban construction with a total covered surface area of 1,130 m2, a ground floor fitted out as an exhibition hall and for holding different events, and upper floors used as offices.

Miramar
A neoclassic building from 1852 located between Sant Sebastià beach and the historical center. It is the Festival’s meeting point in the heart of Sitges.
