Synopsis:
When just a child, Quaid witnessed his parents’ brutal murder and since then he lives terrorized by bloody nightmares. Unaware of this traumatic event, two friends join up with him in a project to analyze the human being’s deepest fears. Who isn’t afraid of something? Anthony DiBlasi, Barker’s collaborator, must have been when he decided to adapt one of the most horrifically cruel stories from ‘Books of Blood’. But he wasn’t at all intimidated and Dread places us before the monster itself, the monster in all of us that threatens to devour us. Now we ARE scared. Director biography:
Anthony DiBlasi
A member of Clive Barker’s production company, Seraphin Films, he’s the executive producer of The Plague (06), The Midnight Meat Train (08) and Book of Blood (09). Dread is his first feature film as a director. Cast & Crew:
