Synopsis:
As a child, Carole saw a dog kill her little friend Laura. Twenty years later, she is an aid worker in former Yugoslavia and recurrently thinks about that terrible experience. As she and her two colleagues are about to leave Kosovo, they're kidnapped by a gang of masked men who lock them up, feed them and take care of them so they'll stay in good shape. What do the kidnappers want from them? When the three aid workers discover the truth, they'll tremble from the pure horror of it.
