James Gunn

Official Fantàstic Galas

Trailer / Images:

James Gunn had been waiting for a long time to take the big leap he deserved in the American movie scene. Trained at Lloyd Kauffman's Troma and capable of writing one of the best remakes in recent horror cinema like Dawn of the Dead, Gunn debuted as a director with the indispensable Slither. In Super we once again find ourselves before a process of deconstructing the superhero, focusing on a normal, everyday guy who transforms himself into Crimson Bolt, a powerless alter ego with unexpected results. A totally essential cross between The Toxic Avenger and Kick-Ass.
