Synopsis:
Sophie and Daneel, a couple in their thirties residing in Paris. Sophie prepares a secret trip to Bulgaria but, to her surprise, her boyfriend categorically refuses to go. She finally convinces him and they both head there. When they arrive, she discovers that Daneel was born in this country, something he’d never told her. Avoiding the crowds that throng the beaches, they take a boat to a remote island in the Black Sea. There, the locals’ strange behavior and the unbearable heat plunge them into a bizarre atmosphere and the tension between the two of them rises as they discover things about each other... An intriguing drama with the special guest appearance of Alejandro Jodorowsky. Director biography: Kamen Kalev
