Synopsis:
Riley Jones’ adolescence has fallen in with the outcasts. Her life gets even worse when she has to go to detention after school and, as if that weren’t enough, a killer who seems to have stepped out of a slasher movie starts to kill people right and left. “I don’t want a teen movie that also tries to have an adult audience. This is a movie about teens for teens”. That’s how categorical Joseph Kahn is when talking about Detention, a low-budget, modest looking horror comedy but that, screening after screening, is getting talked about more and more.
