Synopsis:


1948. In response to a protest occurring on the isle of Jeju, the United States instructs Korea to declare anyone living five kilometers from the peninsula a communist. Through very some meticulous aesthetics, Jiseul closely explores the pain caused by this incident and follows the exodus of the island’s inhabitants, taking refuge in a cave to avoid the soldiers whose mission is to pursue and execute them.

Born 1971. He works with the Terror J cultural group and has directed different performances and plays. His filmography includes titles like Nostalgia (09) and Wind of Island (11).
