Synopsis:


A hunter and his dog head into the woods, where the animal disappears and the man is left completely on his own and lost out in the wild, leading to his itinerant roaming, later punctuated with brief encounters with disconcerting characters. Following Valley of Love, Gérard Depardieu collaborates once again with one of the most unpredictable French filmmakers of the moment.

A writer and a professor at the Fémis, as a director Nicloux has put together an eclectic and very personal filmography, including films like The Nun (13) or The Kidnapping of Michel Houellebecq (14).
