Synopsis:


In the city of Yanji, between North Korea, China and Russia, half the population makes a living from illegal activities. Hard-pressed to pay a debt, a taxi driver accepts the dangerous deal proposed to him by a Mafioso.

An essential name in thrillers with a social background, he shattered Korean box office records with his first feature film, The Chaser (08), and picked up diverse awards, including one in Sitges where he also presented The Yellow Sea (11).
