Synopsis:


Kathy and her daughter Lizzy get lost in the woods, and wind up trapped in the middle of a tremendous storm. As if that weren’t enough, they are stalked by a terrible creature that’s neither human nor animal. With The Monster, Bryan Bertino turns primal horror into a cathartic element to redefine the relationship between a mother and her daughter.

Bryan Bertino

In 2008 his debut film, The Strangers (08), was a big hit. He would go on to create Unbroken Pictures, the company he’s produced his own films with –Mockingbird (14), The Monster plus those of other directors.
