Synopsis:


While trying to illegally cross the border, young emigrant Aryan is shot, and the wound gives him the power to levitate. With the help of Doctor Stern, he manages to escape from a refugee camp. Fascinated by Aryan’s superpowers, Stern sees the opportunity to take advantage of the miracle. Kornél Mundruczó presented this thriller in Cannes, where the supernatural is combined with one of the big contemporary tragedies.

Director biography:


Kornél Mundruczó

He studied acting and directing in Budapest. After directing several short films, he began a stunning career with the feature length Pleasant Days (02). His films include Delta (08), Tender Son: The Frankenstein Project (10) and White God (14).
