Synopsis:


It was the early sixties when the master of suspense let the star of his new movie die barely forty minutes into the film, in a scene that would turn cinema upside down. Alexandre O. Philippe, an unrepentant movie buff, dissects those 52 shots from Psycho, which marked a dramatic narrative effect and was admiration of brutality turned suggestion.

Alexandre O. Philippe

Creative director for Exhibit A Pictures and Cinema Vertige, he’s the author of numerous documentaries, including the outstanding The People vs. George Lucas (10) and The Life and Times of Paul the Psychic Octopus (12), seen in Sitges.
