Sitges 2015 revs up for the best fantastic cinema of the moment
The Festival has prepared a wide-ranging selection of screenings, activities and events that will bring together the latest genre trends for ten days
The 48th Sitges – International Fantastic Film festival of Catalonia is opening its doors tomorrow. Form the 9thh to the 18th of October, the best showcase for fantastic cinema will be bringing together the latest genre trends, the most stimulating and disturbing projects and the little big gems on the indie scene. Sitges 2015’s lineup arrives full of films by renowned creators from the fantastic and horror universe, along with up-and coming talents, and will reinforce its film options with the most creative animated cinema, the best TV series of the moment and an exquisite assortment of documentaries.
In addition, the Festival will be a meeting place where different actors from the film industry will come together and, at the same time, a center of opportunities for young filmmakers. This year there will also be a new movie theater, the Tramuntana Room, and the Festival is expanding its side event options with new venues and screens and cultural proposals and events for all tastes.
