The Fantàstic Catering becomes part of one of the collaboration focuses at the Festival and the Sitges Bacanal is consolidated this year
As a result of the quality of the products from the collaborating companies Embotits Bundó, La Locanda Pizza Group, Forns Enrich, Domènech i Vidal, Royal Bliss, Coca-Cola, Moritz, the Culinary Arts School, Joan Ramon Benaprès High School, Família Cudié, Café Candelas and Cava Mistinguett, the Festival will offer an extensive and varied assortment of local products of the very highest quality: The Fantastic Catering. In addition, Sitges Bacanal, our proposal combining cuisine and cinema that was already present last year, is back again this year with a reinterpretation of the Festival’sleitmotiv, 2001: A Space Odyssey.
The Fantastic Catering will open its doors for the first time on October 4th. A culinary experience that can be enjoyed during one of the most emblematic evenings at this year’s Festival, the Blood Red Carpet Mistinguett Party, which will be held on October 11th at Casa Vidal-Quadras, as well as the Closing Gala, taking place on October 13th this year.
During the dinners offered by the Fantastic Catering, guests will be able to savor the quality and tradition of Embotits Bundó’s assorted charcuterie, the artisanal flavor of traditional dough pizzas from the La Locanda Pizza Group and delight their palates with products from Forns Enrich. Three proposals that can be paired with textures from the wine list presented by Domènech i Vidal, or accompanied by a Royal Bliss tonic, or a Coca-Cola soft drink. Or those who prefer it can do the same with a Mortiz, the first beer from Barcelona and the Festival’s main sponsor along with the Slate Entertainment Group.
Brought to you by the Culinary Arts School and the Joan Ramon Benaprès High School, guests will be able to discover the Cudié Family’s best kept secret, allowing themselves to be transported by their chocolates and their catànies, and bring their experience to an end with the aroma of a cup of Candelas Coffee and/or the bubbles from Mistinguett Cava.
Many of the products from the Fantastic Catering can be found in the Festival’s VIP lounge, a venue where the most relevant celebrities from the film scene all come together.

Consolidation of the Sitges Bacanal
The Sitges Bacanal, holding its 2nd edition this year, is a proposal combining cuisine and cinema that reinterprets the Festival’sleitmotiv, 2001: A Space Odyssey. This year it is designed by the event’s sponsor Oriol Castro, from Disfrutar Restaurant in Barcelona, and the Hotel ME Sitges Terramar by Melià. It is an exclusive event and tickets are now on sale via the Festival website.
