From the Museums of Sitges and in collaboration with the Sitges-International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, a family workshop on the fantasy genre has been prepared, specifically on the visual magic of optical effects.

Girls and boys will be able to create their own zoetrope based on an animation inspired by the festival's logo, the emblematic image of the gorilla King Kong.

The zoetrope is a toy invented in 1834 by the English mathematician William George Horner that reproduces the illusion of cyclical movement. The piece is made up of a circular drum and a strip with images with cyclic movement. Turning the drum, looking through the holes, reproduces the illusion of movement.
