The presence of Terence Fisher as president of the jury meant shining a small spotlight on the London-born director and on Hammer. Joining him as members of the jury were director Krsto Papic, winner of the 1973 edition Juan Luis Buñuel, producer Arturo Marcos, and writer Miguel Utrillo. The Calípolis hosted some of the film market's screenings.
