Neil Jordan received the Grand Honorary Award. Other notable awardees included Don Coscarelli, William Lustig, Barbara Steele, Elijah Wood, Dee Wallace, and Teresa Gimpera. Sitges also welcomed Pen-ek Ratanaruang, Eli Roth, Pascal Laugier, Peter Strickland, and Ben Wheatley and Alice Lowe, who filled the theater with laughter and scares with Sightseers. Outside the cinema, an exhibition of works by director Peter Greenaway was also on display.
