We reached half a century of existence following in the footsteps of the most eternal of all vampires. We celebrated our 50th anniversary in the company of honorees William Friedkin, Frank Langella, and Susan Sarandon, who didn't hesitate to sing an a cappella rendition of one of the greatest hits from The Rocky Horror Picture Show during a now legendary late-night screening at the Auditori. The Festival's different juries featured names that included Nick Antosca, Alberto Marini, and David J. Skal, and presented awards to the latest works by Kornel Mundruczó (Jupiter's Moon) and Joachim Trier (Thelma)... while also recognizing the talent of a director making her feature debut named Coralie Fargeat (Revenge).
