Although the leitmotif of the 55th edition invited us into the virtual realities of Tron, the truth is we preferred to stay grounded in a world (our own) where we gave honorary awards to Edgar Wright, Ti West, Neil Marshall, and Quentin Dupieux — and where the national scene was shaken by the emergence or confirmation of Carlota Pereda, Alberto Vázquez, and Paul Urkijo Alijo. Without much fuss, but with an impressive ability to win over our audience, Jalmari Helander claimed the double crown with Sisu.
