A fundamental part of the magic of our Festival is provided by you, year after year... and each time in an increasingly forceful way.

Because whenever we start to think we've topped out, you show us that we haven't, that we need to raise the bar a little bit higher.

2025, a year in which we still weren't able to rely on the reopening of the El Retiro movie theater or even the momentum of a holiday weekend during the course of the Festival, we continued to set new records that have never been seen before.

The 58th edition of the SITGES - International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia closes with a total of 130,322 viewers (compared to 116,909 in 2024 and 115,695 in 2023), in other words, all those who purchased a ticket or a pack or accessed movie theaters with a badge or a pass.

The total number of participants (including those who took part in workshops, exhibitions, the Zombie Walk, and other parallel activities) rose to 178,171, compared to 154,844 in 2024 and 158,461 in 2023.

A general upward trend that once again confirms the excellent health of fantastic filmmaking and its global benchmark film festival.
