We're bringing back the Sitges Fantastic Podcast to offer you the first major announcement for our Festival's 59th edition.
We've brought together Ángel Sala and Mònica Garcia i Massagué for a joint celebration of two horror film classics.
Carrie, by Brian De Palma, and Who Can Kill a Child?, by Narciso Ibáñez Serrador, are celebrating their 50th anniversaries, and for our 59th edition, we'll be dedicating the leitmotif to the thematic intersections between these two films: we have proms, we have psychic powers, we have teenage traumas, and we have the Evil associated with childhood...
We can't wait for it to be October.
But in the meantime, we're looking back at our Management Team's trip to California and Texas to reflect on the—excellent—state of the fantastic genre.
And we'll wrap up with a plethora of recommendations for our parishioners, in the form of books, soundtracks, and, of course, films. Courtesy of our programming team.
