FANTASCURTS TRASH-BASTÉ - Wednesday, October 15 at 8:30 PM at the Meeting:

Trash Basté, an international festival of Gore, Trash and Horror short films, was born in Barcelona in 2021, in the midst of the post-pandemic hangover, with the idea of providing a space for all those short films that likely don’t fit in many other festivals. Its premise is to put aside censorship and preconceived ideas. At Trash Basté, they love low-budget films and reward boldness, originality, and transgression. Each edition features a selection of the most bizarre and provocative shorts in the genre, championing the most rotten, uncomfortable, and free-spirited cinema. And if that weren’t enough, you can also enjoy the horror market held every year during the festival, and as the cherry on top, a massive closing concert with two bands representing the best of Metal and Punk. As they proudly proclaim: “Welcome to the trash.”
