Press Conference - Encounter Bulk With Ben Weathley
Sitges Encounters features talks with leading figures in genre filmmaking participating in this year's edition of the Festival.
On this occasion, the audience will have the chance to attend a meeting with part of the team behind Bulk, featuring the presence of the diretor.
Ben Wheatley is a film writer, director, editor and producer whose works have received numerous awards, international critical acclaim, and theatrical releases worldwide.
His feature film career began with Down Terrace (2009), followed by Kill List (2011) and Sightseers (2012), quickly establishing his unique style within contemporary British cinema. In 2013 he presented A Field in England, and in 2014 directed episodes of the series Doctor Who.
He continued with high-profile projects such as High-Rise (2015) and Free Fire (2016). Further works include Happy New Year, Colin Burstead (2018), the adaptation of Rebecca (2020), and the thriller In the Earth (2021).
In 2022 he released Meg 2: The Trench, followed by Generation Z (2023) and the upcoming titles Bulk (2025) and Normal (2025).
