Accidents Happen

de Andrew Lancaster

Synopsis

This year we are opening Sitges up to smiles (and even roars of laughter) but with a strange, fantastic touch that’s very much our own. Accidents Happen, one of several comedies you can see at this year’s festival, revolves around a family with a special power to attract accidents, in other words something like a cross between Little Miss Sunshine and the Final Destination saga, also present at Sitges’09 with its fourth installment in 3-D. Director Andrew Lancaster,  professional musician and music video artist, is one of the many surprises out of Australia and with this movie he provides  Academy Award-winning Geena Davis with a golden role.
