Getting trapped in a phone booth is to enter a living hell; getting stranded on a chairlift when the ski slopes have closed for the week is a true ordeal. If you pay peanuts you get monkeys, and that’s something two friends and the girlfriend of one of them should know when they decide to think up a scheme so they can pay less to ski. Up on the chairlift on their way to make their last run, they stop in midair. With a whole week ahead of them, they have to face the cold and the threat of wolves. Using just one stage and only three main characters, the director of Hatchet delights us with a movie that’s so terrifying it will make your blood run cold.
