As soon as it begins, we can clearly see Alejandro Fadel’s skillfulness: between sheep, a trail of blood, and a woman trying to hold her head in place because she’s been decapitated. Starting with this death, a profoundly violent plot commences, set in a remote town near the Andes, where a cop will try to solve a mystery which we can’t be sure whether it’s the result of insanity or a monster.
He studied at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. As a screenwriter he’s done outstanding work for filmmakers like Pablo Trapero or Israel Adrián Caetano. In Sitges, he presented The Wild Ones (12).
