Biografia
After making her feature debut as a director and screenwriter with I Shot Andy Warhol (1996), she would go on to create her crowning achievement, American Psycho (2000), a memorable adaptation of the novel of the same name by Bret Easton Ellis. A genre enthusiast, with films including The Moth Diaries (2011) and Charlie Says (2018), she has worked on the television series Six Feet Under, Constantine, Fear Itself, and The Following. In 2017, she directed six episodes of Alias Grace, an adaptation of Margaret Atwood's novel written by Sarah Polley. Together with Guinevere Turner, she has written the screenplay for her next project: The Highway That Eats People.
