POLARIS

The year is 2144. Sumi, a girl raised by a polar bear in a post-apocalyptic Arctic wilderness, sets out on a dangerous journey through the frozen landscape, guided only by the star Polaris. On her way she meets a young woman named Frozen Girl, and they decide to travel together to defend themselves from a violent group of hunters. The opening film of this year's edition of the Fantasia Festival in Montreal.
