Synopsis

When the mother snaps, in a split second decision, and punishes her daughter her worst fears are realised as the daughter goes missing. With no other option, she sets off looking for her in the wilderness. The panic, anxiety and pain she experiences during her search is evocative of all that she will feel as she will have to live with the result of her actions, forever punishing herself. What she finds in the end, is a version of her daughter that she couldn't have expected.

Coral and Nicole’s (aka The Doncho Sisters) first collaboration together was a mockumentary sketch series about a band who don’t make music. SHALLOW VS premiered on Funny Or Die and WhoHaha, and was later longlisted for a Funny Women Award.

In 2021, they were selected for BFI Network x BAFTA Crew. They are currently working on their first feature together. Coral is also developing two other features - TRIBE with Parkville Pictures and the BFI and G.I.R.L. based on her viral short film MJ, which was released on Alter with 2 million views.
