Synopsis

The poetic story of a young soldier's return home and the agreement he makes with the devil to trade his beloved violin for unlimited wealth. Tormented by regret, the soldier embarks on a journey to recover his soul and rediscover the life he left behind. The film features the voices of Max von Sydow and André Gregory, and has been restored in 2K from a 35mm print.
