Stopmotion

Ella is a stop-motion animator whose mother, with whom she used to have a complicated relationship, has recently passed away. She throws herself into the filming of a macabre puppet movie, which becomes the stage for her internal grief. But before long, the puppets begin to take on a life of their own, causing Ella to question her sanity and, even more disturbingly, the power of the imagination. An unnerving display of psychological horror reminiscent of Censor (2021).
