Following the death of a martial arts master in 1920s China, two of his very best students vie for the leadership of his school: on the one hand, the master's son, and on the other, his most talented apprentice. Tradition dictates that this problem has to be solved privately, but the aspiring duo will take the dispute to the street. Superb action choreography in a recent landmark in Chinese genre films.
