A Different Man

Edward, an aspiring actor with absolutely zero professional or romantic success, undergoes reconstructive surgery to change his appearance. The new Edward is, at first glance, a big winner, but his re-encounter with an old platonic love and the appearance of a mysterious stranger begin to crack that façade. Sebastian Stan won Best Actor in Berlin for this original satire about identity and normalcy, with echoes of Charlie Kaufman's work.
