Synopsis

Karin, 11 years old, has been abandoned by her father. Her grandfather, a monk living in a temple in rural Japan, assumes responsibility for looking after her. Her grandfather asks Anzu, his jovial and helpful, if somewhat capricious, ghost cat, to take care of his granddaughter. When their energetic personalities clash, sparks will fly, though it may only be the beginning of a lifelong friendship.
