1000 Women in Horror

Year of production
2025
Duration
97 min.

Synopsis

Is horror a man's world? Ever since the silent film era and until today, the nightmares that have tormented us have been sculpted and embodied by women, but many of these artists have gone completely unnoticed, a historical oversight that this documentary sets right with the help of a chainsaw. Interviews with prominent female figures from the horror scene are complemented by clips from key films - both classic and unknown - where they have left their mark.
