In Japan, an alien plant is devastating the environment, while a group of volunteers, including Rita, are engaged in reconstruction efforts. One day, some monstrous creatures are unleashed, and Rita dies, over and over again, trapped in a time loop. Together with Keiji, a young man also trapped in the same cyclical loop, they will fight to make sense of the chaos surrounding them.
