A milestone in 1980s science fiction, this mind-bending dystopia turns forty this year, and what better way to celebrate it than with a visit from its director Terry Gilliam, who will be a special guest at the 58th edition of the Festival. A hard-hitting critique of totalitarian society, it uses surrealism and a combination of genres to recount for us the adventures of Sam, who escapes his monotonous existence through dreamlike fantasies where he meets the love of his life.
