The Gnawer of Rocks

Two young people follow a path of colored stones to the lair of the “Gnawer of Rocks,” an ancient creature from Inuit mythology. Inspired by a book by Flaherty herself, this short film combines oral tradition and contemporary animation techniques to weave a tribute to the cultural memory of the Arctic.
