Synopsis
An adaptation of Donald E. Westlake's novel The Ax, this incisive and dark satire follows a man who has recently lost his job and who, desperate to find work and avoid losing his home, hatches a foolproof plan: he invents a fake company, contacts all his rivals, convinces them to get together, and... eliminates the competition. A hair-raising critique of labor policy that unfolds as a masterclass in elegance and great pacing.
