Encounter - Encounter with Stephen Thrower

Sitges Encounters includes talks with the great figures of genre cinema participating in this edition of the festival.

Stephen Thrower will receive the Time Machine Award 2024. Thrower is a British writer, author of several books on horror cinema, including Beyond Terror: The Films of Lucio Fulci, Nightmare USA, a study of American independent cinema, and two volumes on Jesús Franco, Murderous Passions and Flowers of Perversion. Curator of the American Horror Project for Arrow, he regularly contributes to the production of physical editions of horror films. As a musician, he was part of the industrial group Coil, and has contributed to the soundtrack of films by Derek Jarman or Lucile Hadžihalilović.
