Round Table - HORROR GIRLS. From Final Girl to Killer

There is no film genre that has bet more on female representation on the big screen than fantasy and, in particular, horror. This session explores the evolution of one of the most iconic archetypes in horror cinema, the 'final girl,' transformed into avengers and even villains. Three experts will discuss the portrayal of female protagonists in genre cinema: actress Lauren LaVera, known for her work in cult horror films like Terrifier; director Iván Fund, passionate about 1980s genre cinema and recognized for his authorial vision; and horror film expert Desirée de Fez, who will moderate the discussion.
