Round Table - Terror Arreu Catalunya (TAC): Oportunities and barriers for genre cinema in Catalan

In the vibrant fabric of the Catalan film scene, the TAC Federation was born 15 years ago as a beacon of diversity that draws the territory through the culture of genre cinema. With a consolidated presence that brings together 18 small and medium-sized genre film festivals in Catalonia, the TAC stands as a platform committed to the promotion and dissemination of Catalan genre cinema inside and outside our borders.

The round table will address the underlying reasons for the low production of genre short films in the Catalan language and will explore the possibilities to promote their production and dissemination. Participants will analyse the creative, structural and cultural barriers, as well as the opportunities that exist to promote greater linguistic diversity in genre cinema in Catalonia.
