On this occasion, the audience will have the chance to attend a meeting with part of the team behind The Thing With Feathers, featuring the presence of British actor Benedict Cumberbatch
A television, theater, and film actor, he rose to fame playing Stephen Hawking in 2004, although his first iconic role was Sherlock Holmes in the BBC series. Nominated twice for an Oscar, four times for a Golden Globe, and eight times for a BAFTA, he won an Emmy for the episode Sherlock: His Last Vow (2014). He's known worldwide for his fantastic genre roles: in the Marvel universe he's Doctor Strange and in Star Trek he played Khan. Considered one of the most respected British actors of his generation, he has worked under the direction of filmmakers including Danny Boyle, Jane Campion, Sam Raimi, and Wes Anderson.
In this edition, he/she is awarded the Time Machine Award for his/her career in the world of genre cinema.
