The talent agencies have also become producers or mini-studios, working on the packaging of the audiovisual projects. So, what role does the independent producer have left? Almost twenty years after its publication, the book Advantages of Traveling by Train will have its film adaptation. The Barcelona-Sant Jordi International Film Festival (BCN FILM FEST) organizes this encounter between Antonio Orejudo, author of the book, and Aritz Moreno, director of the film, to talk about transporting the story to the big screen.   • 5:00 pm Happy Hour | Presentation of Fantarifa | Tarifa, the southernmost city of the Iberian peninsula and the tip of Europe, is committed to becoming the second national reference for fantastic cinema with the celebration of Fantarifa, a festival born from the hand of Sitges to put Tarifa on the map of the International film industry as a meeting and exhibition forum for new audiovisual trends in the fantastic genre. Fantarifa will celebrate its first edition between October 30 and November 2, 2019, coinciding with Halloween.

  • ► 5:00 pm Round Table | Beyond Ray In 2016, the studio Future Lighthouse produced the immersive fable “Ray” in 360 video. The project obtained a special mention at the 2017 Sitges film festival and it was selected in more than 20 festivals around the world. Two years later its creators saw that the project needed to be more immersive and created “Ray Sparks”. Panel with its creators, Rafael Pavon and Roberto Romero.
