¡Bruja, más que bruja!

Synopsis

Fernando Fernán-Gómez turned to screenwriter Pedro Beltrán with a newspaper item to have him write the text for this film about a love triangle in provincial Spain of the fifties. Premiering soon after Franco’s death, Bruja, más que bruja is one of the greatest genre experiments in Spanish cinema, halfway between zarzuela (a Spanish operetta, Beltrán’s favorite genre) and Valle Inclán-style esperpento.
