Synopsis

In every disaster movie, the spectator is anxiously waiting for just that, for the disaster to flood the screen, and Haeundae won’t disappoint in the very least. Indeed we are referring to one of the season’s most awaited blockbusters, a movie that sets its action in one of the most touristy spots on the South Korean coast and threatens its inhabitants with a colossal tsunami. With a cast that includes Seol Gyeong-hu, one of the local actors with the greatest international charisma, and visual effects from the man responsible for The Day After Tomorrow and The Perfect Storm, all that’s left for the spectator to do is grab a lifejacket and do the wave.

Director

Yun Je-gyun
