Tetsuo: The Bullet Man

de Shinya Tsukamoto

As if it were a master plan, hatched over the years throughout his filmography, Shinya Tsukamoto returns to Sitges with the re-update of that unwitting cyberpunk masterpiece that was Tetsuo, ready to spread his erotic fusion of flesh, metal and cement around the four corners of the planet. His hate-love relationship with the city of Tokyo continues to generate the same anxiety and his mutated machinery, that only he is capable of maneuvering as demonstrated by his total immersion in it, has been conscientiously lubricated, once again, with Chu Isikawa’s thundering score. The invasion has begun and now Tsukamoto has the definitive weapon.
