Fase 7
Synopsis
Argentinean cinema finally comes to Sitges and in the format of an apocalyptic comedy no less. Based on the recent epidemic of Influenza A and more interested in the situation of psychosis it generated than the infection itself, Fase 7 slowly becomes a closed story, taking place in an apartment building where comic, absurd and terrifying situations occur. With a skillful hand, Nicolás Goldbart directs a stupendous group of actors headed by Daniel Hendler and the mythical Federico Luppi, composing a fresco of human behaviors taken to the limit that could be described without sounding strange as a sort of Rec flavored by Buenos Aires humor.
