Although it seems farfetched, the premise of On the Job is based on a true story. Two prisoners enjoy the benefits some corrupt cops have offered them: they can leave prison every now and then in exchange for working as hired killers. And of course, the law enforcement officers in charge of the case will never suspect that the criminals they’re looking for are already behind bars.
He began his career in the late nineties, working in film and advertising. Films like On the Job (13), Honor Thy Father (15) or Seklusyon (16) elevated his status to that of one of the Filipino masters of genre films.
