In 2015, we’ve all heard of Gangnam, the district in Seoul made popular by singer PSY and his Gangnam Style. But back in 1970, it was an unknown region in the middle of a development process. There we find our heroes, two orphans who manage to escape poverty by participating in a corrupt political conspiracy that winds up tearing them apart.
As a poet, he captured the essence of the decade of the nineties and reflected the changes taking place in Korea at the time. He debuted with We Must Go To Apgujung-Dong on Windy Days (93). He’s famous for films like Spirit of Jeet Keun Do (04), A Dirty Carnival (06) or A Frozen Flower (08).
